The results of the 2014 Best of Colorado awards are in and all award certificates are in the mail (in fact, you may have received your certificates already). You can see the complete list of winners, in all contests and in all enrollment categories, in two ways: choose a list alphabetical by school and medium; or choose a list by contest category.
Our judging panel, members of whom were literally from New Jersey to Seattle, wrote comments on many entries and on all overall categories. We hope to have samples of winning work available later in May, along with access to judging comments.
We hope that everyone who earns an award can be honored at school, during an awards ceremony, A Quill and Scroll initiation, or some other public event. Our student journalists have done terrific work in 2013-14, and they deserve to be recognized.
We know that doesn’t happen enough, but our Best of Colorado awards give everyone an excuse to celebrate.
