The Al Neuharth Free Spirit Scholarship winner from Colorado/Rocky Mountain High School is junior Cassa Niedringhaus. She will receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington D.C. in July to participate in a journalism conference at the Newseum and a $1,000 college scholarship. Her adviser is Stephen Wahlfeldt.
