Colorado Press Women invited this year’s CPW High School Communications Contest winners to Channel 9 News in Denver to view a live newscast, tour the station and enjoy a pizza party. The special event was April 30, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

These students have also been entered into the National Federation of Press Women contest. National winners will be announced later in the Spring.
Over 101 entries were submitted from eight schools around the state for the 2011 contest. Advisers can pick up their packet of entries, judges’ sheets and certificates at the event on April 30, or they will be mailed out afterward.
