This young woman is not typical and we don’t advocate for students putting themselves in harm’s way to do their reporting, but it’s an inspiring story that deserves to be part of our “Fearless” series.
And Portland may be far away, but Aurora and downtown Denver certainly are not. Many of our programs go on hiatus over the summer but our students will return in a few weeks (in-person or online) full of energy and ready to get into sensitive and challenging topics. That is true every year, but perhaps more than ever this fall.
