The Columbia Scholastic Press Association has announced the finalists for the annual Crown Awards. According to the CSPA press release, “Crown Awards honor top student publications chosen from CSPA members. Crowns are selected for overall excellence in a head-to-head comparison by category. Student publications in news, magazine, yearbook, or online formats are all eligible. During Crown adjudication, publications are judged for excellence demonstrated through design, photography, concept, coverage, and writing. A total of 540 publications were eligible for judging in the 2025 competition.”

All finalists will be awarded either a Silver or Gold Crown at the CSPA 101st Annual Spring Convention on March 21, 2025, on the Columbia University campus in New York City.
