Nov. 21 – Seventeen Colorado student journalists were among the 859 winners (among 2,032 total entries) in the National Write-offs held in Boston on Nov. 15. The competitions are held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday during the fall and spring JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism conventions. Judges award Superior (no more than 10 percent of entries in a competition), Excellent and Honorable Mention (HM).
