Competition Comment: Overall, interviews and mic usage was strongest among the winners. Frame interviews following the rule of thirds, shots should be tight, we shouldn't see the interviewer but instead he/she should be standing right next to the camera so the interviewee will look just off-screen. Shots should be elbows up or tighter...show us the emotion in their faces! And regarding mics, the person being interviewed should never hold the mic. Lavalier/lapel mics are meant to be clipped to the person, not to be held.
