  • Competition Comment: The top entries went outside and found stories that brought to life the "values" or star players on their teams. Great stories and especially feature stories should make you feel like you are on a train. A train that is going on an interesting adventure. Great writers avoid telling the writer what to think or or do. Leave the opinion out of the story and let the opinions of the characters out. Journalism is about people. Keep telling the stories of the interesting people at your school and what leads them to success or defeat on the field and off of it.
